Like a G6 is one of the most moronic, obnoxious, dumb, stupid, and dated songs in existence. And I love it. A lot of music critics really hate this song, and while I agree with everything they say about it, those things are why I like it. Unlike songs like Imma Be or Boom Boom Pow, which are obnoxious, dated, and boring, Like a G6 is obnoxious, dated, and fun. There's just such a fun sense of enthusiasm in this song, and that enthusiasm makes everything so much more fun, and gives the song some personality. On top of that, everyone sounds fantastic. They sound insanely robotic, but they have enough enthusiasm and fun in their voice that it makes the song bearable. Oh, and it's catchy as hell. Like A G6 is one of the earwormiest songs ever. It has an incredibly obnoxious, groovy, and fun beat. It's just such a fantastic, fun, party jam. Similar to The Time (Dirty Bit), Like A G6 is an incredibly dated piece of obnoxiousness, but it has enough fun, personality, and enthusiasm to make it fun. If you hate it, it's more than understandable. But I fricking love Like A G6.
