Song Review: Gnarly by Kodak Black and Lil Pump

Oh. My. God. Kodak Black made a song that I like. I.... I don't know what's real anymore. No, this isn't a troll or a prank. Gnarly is a really good song. Not amazing, but compared to some of Kodak's other trash, it's a frickin masterpiece. Why? First off, the beat. Unlike Tunnel Vision, which has a dark, drudgy, ominous beat, Gnarly is more fun, poppy and enjoyable. But the real surprise is Kodak himself. I don't know how, but this song manages to make Kodak's sludgy, disgusting voice actually sound good. Unlike Patty Cake, which has a fun beat, but still has Kodak's annoying voice, Kodak's grainy, disgusting voice actually sounds really good in this song. It has a fun, infectious enthusiasm which makes up for how disgusting it sounds. And while, like Walk It Talk It, Gnarly has a 50's aesthetic that the song doesn't take advantage of, unlike WITI, which is a boring droning mess, Gnarly, while not in the style of a 1950s song, is really fun and enjoyable. And then there's Lil Pump, the human equivalent of Photograph by Nickelback. While he's not as memorable as he was in Be Like Me or Welcome To The Party, Pump is still very fun and enjoyable. Although for some reason, his parts switch from 1950s to I think Modern day for some reason. So yeah, Kodak Black made a genuinley enjoyable song. Again, I don't know what's real anymore. Kodak Black, you still suck, but Gnarly is an alright song.

What are your thoughts on Gnarly, as well as the artists that made it? Which one of your least favorite artists made a song you love? Comment below!!!!
