Song Review: Lean On by Major Lazer, DJ Snake, and MØ

I absolutely love this song. It's an insanely funky, immersive experience. Let's start with by far the best thing about this song: the production. Like Thunder, This Is Gospel, and Feel It Still, I am in love with every aspect of this production. The relaxing and funky synths, the bumping taps, that awesome chipmunk thing, it's so fricking cool. On top of that, MØ's voice is absolutely lovely. It sounds really nice, and has a nice relaxing vibe, which helps make this already immersive song even more immersive. Also, I like the music video. It's interesting that they set the music video in India, and the reason they set it in India is really cool. Here's a quote from Diplo, which explains why the music video is set in India:

"India is special and its beauty absolutely humbled me. When we toured there as Major Lazer, it was mind blowing to see our fan-base and we wanted to incorporate the attitude and positive vibes into our video and just do something that embodies the essence of Major Lazer. Major Lazer has always been a culture mashup and to us, India feels like some kind of special creature with one foot in history and one firmly in the future. The experience is something we'll never forget."

Really cool. Bottom line, Lean On is one of the best songs I've ever heard in my life. It's an relaxing, immersive, funky, and cool song that makes me question how on earth DJ Snake made the disaster that was Taki Taki. The only problem? It ends.
