Song Review: Krabby Step by Tyga, Swae Lee, and Lil Mosey

Like many people, I love SpongeBob SquarePants. It's one of the best cartoons ever made, with memorable characters, fantastic humor, and iconic moments. And while I haven't seen the newest SpongeBob movie (Will Nickelodeon ever let this franchise die?), I have heard the song made for it, and WOW is it good. First off, the song samples the iconic Krusty Krab theme song, and like Back In Time, this song does that sample justice. Although unlike that song, where they integrate Love Is Strange into the song, here, they just play the song as is, with the bass slightly boosted, and rap over it. Speaking of which, let's get to the singers, starting with the most surprising one, Tyga. Tyga is surprisingly enjoyable on this song. His voice is really relaxing and vibing, which works really well with the beat, helped by the bits of enthusiasm peppered throughout his verses. Moving on to Swae Lee, who's also alright. His voice is good, his flow is alright, and his verse is full of SpongeBob in-jokes. Finally, Lil Mosey. Lil Mosey is great. He's enthusiastic, enjoyable, fun, and his lyrics are great. Bottom line, this song is really good. I can't speak for the movie it's from, but Krabby Step is a really good tribute to SpongeBob.

What are your thoughts on Krabby Step? Have you seen Sponge On The Run? What are your thoughts on it? Comment Below!!!!

  1. Some advice I'd like to give on your writing style. Please don't use more than two exclamation marks in a row. It looks unprofessional, and it annoys me whenever I see you do it.

    1. Thanks for the advice. I'll try not to do that in the future.
