EARFQUAKE is a very bizarre song. But unlike Lalala, where it's obvious what about it makes it bizarre, it's hard to exactly pinpoint what makes EARFQUAKE so strange. There's just a bizarre, weird feeling about it. But like Lalala, it's a bizarre feeling that works for me. On top of that, the production is good. Like the last song I reviewed, Boyfriend, EARFQUAKE also uses a lot of synths, but where Boyfriend's synths were rhythmless and chaotic, EARFQUAKE's synths are more rhythmic and funky. Tyler's voice is also very good. It's not amazing, but it's very relaxing and catchy. I also like the video, with Tyler catterwalling while the set burts into flames. It's cool, and kinda reminds me of The Eric Andre Show. In conclusion, EARFQUAKE is a weird as hell, but decent and cool song. It's the kind of song you would either love or hate. If you haven't heard it, play the video, and make your own decision.
